Biological Research Microscopes

Biological Research Microscopes are offered in three standard configurations including Monocular, Binocular, and Trinocular observation heads. Each model features standard 45° inclined observation tubes that rotate through 360° and can be securely fixed in any desired direction. Binocular and Trinocular models are equipped with inter-pupillary distance adjustment ranging from 54mm to 74mm along with individual diopter adjustment for enhanced viewing comfort.

The microscope body is constructed using a single-piece die-cast arm mounted on a large rectangular heavy-duty stable base incorporating concealed transformer and electrical fittings. Its low-profile structure allows comfortable operation during extended laboratory use.

A precision-engineered quadruple revolving nosepiece with accurate centering and positive click-stop mechanism ensures smooth and precise objective rotation. The mechanical stage measures 135mm x 140mm and provides accurate specimen positioning through low-mounted coaxial X-Y controls with cross movement of 50mm x 70mm supported by fully graduated vernier scales.

The Bright Field Abbe Condenser N.A. 1.25 with iris diaphragm and swing-out filter holder is movable through rack-and-pinion adjustment. The condenser system integrates a high-efficiency optical arrangement for maximum light utilization across low to high magnifications and is fully interchangeable with professional accessories.

The illumination system consists of a Halogen Lamp 6V-20W mounted beneath the field lenses. Light intensity can be adjusted using a solid-state variable controlled transformer compatible with input voltages of 110 Volt or 220 Volt.

The microscope is available with a choice of parfocal and parcentered DIN Achromatic or Semi-plan Objectives in magnification ranges of 4x, 10x, 40x, and 100x Oil Immersion. Wide Field Eyepieces are available in 10x, 15x, and 20x magnifications. Huygenian Eyepieces supplied under Semi-plan configurations are treated with anti-fungus and anti-mould coating for reliable performance in humid laboratory environments. For easy identification, all objectives are color coded.

Each microscope is securely packed in full moulded Styrofoam boxes and supplied complete with vinyl cover, duster, cleaning brush, filter, immersion oil, and operating instruction manual.
