The Advanced Forensic Comparison Microscope is specially engineered for modern crime scene investigation, forensic laboratories, and advanced forensic science applications. This high-precision instrument is ideal for analyzing and comparing bullets, bullet cartridge casings, scratch marks, wires, fibres, hair samples, paint fragments, and other microscopic forensic evidence with exceptional clarity and accuracy.
Designed with advanced split-screen comparison technology, the microscope allows two separate specimens to be examined simultaneously under identical magnification and lighting conditions. The precision comparison bridge combines both optical beam paths into a single viewing field, enabling forensic experts to perform accurate side-by-side specimen analysis.
The viewing system offers multiple comparison modes for enhanced forensic examination. Both specimen images can be viewed together, side-by-side, or separated by a thin movable dividing line that can be shifted to either side, allowing more or less of each object to be observed. At the extreme positions, the field of view can display only the left specimen or only the right specimen. The system also provides image overlapping capability with adjustable overlap control for detailed comparative analysis.
This advanced forensic microscope is polarization capable and includes both Polarizer and Analyzer for examination under Cross Polarization Conditions, making it suitable for specialized material identification and forensic analysis applications.
For digital documentation and evidence recording, the system is equipped with two dedicated photo ports — one designed for a still camera and the other for a CCD video camera.
The Ball Socket Mounted Stages provide the capability to incline specimens for precise angular examination and improved evidence positioning during analysis.
The microscope offers a large magnification range from 3.8x up to 144x for versatile forensic examination applications.
Use the 10x eyepiece and bottom reduction lens:
(0.8x objective)(10x eyepiece)(1.2 bridge factor)(0.4x bottom lens) = 3.8x final
Use the 25x eyepiece and largest power objective:
(4.8x Objective)(25x Eyepiece)(1.2 Bridge Factor) = 144x Final Magnification
Approximately 105mm.
